NOTES FROM THE STEERING COMMITTEE
ROTA LEADER
Leader's Report
Chiharu Kawai
Have you all enjoyed autumn tints? We organized an excursion to Okutama
to see autumn trees the other day. I hope those who participated enjoyed
the trip. (Please see the recap in this newsletter.) Now it's already
December,
I guess everybody is becoming busy to wrap up the year. But we would
appreciate it if you could spare some time in the evening on Saturday
the 10th to join our holiday party at Gudene in Shibuya. (More details are
found in this newsletter.) Let's have fun!
Looking back on our activities for this year, our major accomplishment is
probably an increase in membership. Our Membership Coordinator can
give you further details. Besides that, I should say that we have done
the "usual stuff"-workshops, events, newsletters, etc.--diligently, thanks
to all our volunteers for taking the time to support this organization.
Let's give a big hand to the volunteers for their contribution!
Particularly, I would like to express my special thanks to the Newsletter
Team, who actively supported the group by communicating to
the members every single month as the most important means to
put us together. So please come out to the party if you can and
meet these people.
Also, we are looking forward to having more volunteers next year!
Have a great holiday season and best wishes to all!
Don't forget, see you at the party on the 10th!
