Happy New Year, everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season with your families
and/or friends. Unfortunately this month's newsletter is
very late and very short, but in February we will publish a
full issue on the first of the month once again.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for workshops, or would
like to volunteer in some way, please let us know. We are
looking forward to contributions and participation from many
members this year. I would like to wish everyone a wonderful 2006!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We wish you peace and prosperity in Year 2006.
In December last year, we had an annual year-end party in
Shibuya. About 25 people participated. The party turned out
to be rather small, but we had fun in the cozy atmosphere,
enjoying Tarosuke's beautiful guitar music, casual
conversations with other members and their friends, prize
drawings, etc. In this new year, we will continue to make
every effort to hold as many events as we can, including the
usual Meet the DEVas, workshops, and maybe something new, to
keep our members together not just online but also offline.
If you have ideas, suggestions, requests, and questions,
please feel free to let us know. It is you that is
supporting this group. We hope this year of the dog will be
another year of progress for DEJ!
Best Wishes,

Chiharu Kawai

MEMBERSHIP TEAM NEWS
Misao Kajiro, Membership Coordinator.
<membership@digitalevejapan.org>

Total membership is 716 as of December 29th, 2005.

Happy Hew Year!

We were able to have some wonderful workshops in 2005.
Thanks to all the tutors and participants. Also thanks to
all the members who agreed to be interviewed in the DEJ
newsletter.

Janice Young, Mayumi Tanimoto, Shelley Bearse, Sugiko Obata,
Jennifer Pack, Maureen Tan, Rochelle Kopp, and Smita
Deshpande. (Sorry if I have missed someone.)

For me 2005 was full of challenges, and a lot of hard work
but I remind myself that I chose this situation. And through
the activities of DigitalEve Japan, I've met wonderful
friends who have supported and encouraged me. I hope that I
can work a little harder this year.

The first Meet the DEvas in 2006 will be held in February.
Please wait for the announcement on the main list.

May 2006 bring you peace, happiness and success.
