Hello friends.
It's still very cold, but I can see that the days are getting
longer day by day. Spring is just around the corner.

ROTA LEADER
Ladawan Lhuang-on
Leader's Report

Dear All Members,

I've been an active member, web-content coordinator, of
DigitalEve Japan for several months now and this month is my
first time as a Rota Leader for the group. Honestly, I am
not quite sure what to cover in the Rota Leader's report
section. I can only share my feeling of being a member of
this group. Well, it has been a good experience for me so
far, getting to know new people and participating in several
events and meetings.

I am sure that there are so many wonderful women out there
who want to actively participate in our group and work
together to bring women, especially in IT field, to the
forefront.

Please join our monthly SC meeting and share your opinions.
If you are interested in helping a team, contact us at
info@digitalevejapan.org.

Looking forward to seeing you at our next event.

MEDIA TEAM NEWS

Chiharu Kawai, Media Coordinator
< media-j@digitalevejapan.org>

Happy Chinese New Year!
I think some of you have been keeping up with the Livedoor
news. The company's image in the media really influenced its
stock price -- particularly today when there are a lot of
amateur investors and day traders whose behavior is more
likely to be influenced by the media. The Livedoor incident
has made us re-realize the power of the media.

As most of you already know, DigitalEve Japan will be
covered in an article by Mr. Jonathon Walsh, a writer and
editor. The article is expected to appear in one of the
upcoming issues of the Hiragana Times, a popular bilingual
magazine. The purpose of the article is to promote DEJ. To
those of you who have submitted opinions and photos, thank
you so much for your contribution! I am looking forward to
the article being published soon! With this as a good start
in 2006, I hope we will be able to organize more activities
and make DEJ a helpful and meaningful community for all
members.
